It's been a challenging year for all of us, but for women with no permanent, stable, or safe housing, just getting though the national lockdown was a huge achievement.

Our AGM last month was a great time to review the difference we've made to the women who access our services. Over 30 people crammed into our little front room to hear about the successes and challenges from the past year.

We had over 200 referrals in the past year for our 16 rooms. With only 2 members of staff dedicated to providing social and support work we know there's unmet needs in our community. We welcomed 43 women into our home, and supported 39 to move into permanent, safe and affordable housing.

"Both these women worked tirelessly to provide us with the best comforts, safety that I have never experienced in my own family."

We don't need to tell you how important our services are. The comments from our exit surveys provide an illustration of the impact we're having with your support.

“This stay at the house has benefited me in so many ways. It has helped me to build my life, to gain more confidence. I have felt loved and appreciated in this house. Now I am exactly where I want to be.”

We’re now looking forward to 2021, and continuing this important work alongside our incredible community.
